The main difference here is that Yano was crazy over in Osaka, so it was a heated main, along with the fact that his pure heeling allowed for another dimension of Tanahashi to show.

Yujiro hasn't done a damn thing interesting; the only good thing about him were the two shirts he wore at the iPPV (I'm still looking for a screen shot of that Secret Service shirt that he wore before his match with Naito. Green to whomever can procure that shot for me).

I'm talking about their 2010 feud when Makabe was the champ. They didn't want to put Tanahashi back in the title picture so they booked a feud against Yano when he was at the lowest of his irrelevancy. After Yano they booked him against Iizuka IIRC.

Point is. Worst case scenario, nobody is gonna remember this Yujiro push in 6 months. Best case scenario, Yujiro shows SOMETHING for the first time in his singles career or he is just fodder for Naito.

I don't think he will be fodder for Naito though. I really see them putting the IC title on him at some point and having Naito be the gutsy former friend that beats him. Sucks because its Yujiro but its storybuilding 101.

You are probably right. New Japan just announced that Naito will miss close to 8 months recovering his knee :to:

Yeah I'm not a big Go fan but Nagata should get something from him, wondering which of those NOAH matches will make TV though.

Please. I'm so sick of Laughter 7 vs Makabe and Inoue at this point; I just want Shibata to win and get it over with. Move on to better things than feuding with fukking Togi Makabe.

With that said, how long has it been since New Japan did a three way match? Last one I could remember was the awful one that Brock won the IWGP Heavyweight belt in a few years back.

The Traps of Unified Korea
For some reason I think Morishima-Kojima will be fun. That's if they don't take themselves too seriously and just go ahead and have a high-speed lariat fest.

Okada-Anderson from the last NPJW PPV is deffo a good watch if any of the brehs haven't seen it yet. Their G1 Climax final match and this one are both good looks. It's fukking crazy how hot NPJW is right now. They have too many dudes who are on a fukking roll. This Dome show might be the best ever
