If you told me there was 114 hours in a week off top I wouldn't even believe you. They about to cut that though ain't enough floors in the world to warrant that
But this used to happen a lot in the plants, with overtime those GM and Ford janitors make bank. And then with tenure and seniority you basically get paid a bag just to sit down and watch tv.
This still happens at Plants but they cut that pay so low to where they win out in the end.

and as far as hiring new people, there's a few that will suck and not get the job done. How many lazy Americans are out there. Why do most places rather hire illegals rather than lazy Americans who will refuse to take out the trash unless they get a raise.

American corporations are dysfunctional which is causing this. And someone profited off of it. Good Smart dude.
Having said that, they could have hired 4 Janitors and gave 3 extra people jobs.
If you're a young dude 18 no college education hey this is a come up. You can put in 100 hour weeks for maybe 5-6 years then retire.

Also there are corporate nikkas that put in more hours than him and don't get paid half as much plus have more mental stress
