I dont know if a comedy special can get an emmy but that was amazing.
One moment had me cracking up The next moment. Someone was cutting up some onions.

Yes a comedy special can get an Emmy. Chappelle, Chris Rock, Jerrod Carmichael have all won. The categories are Variety Special and Writing For A Variety Special.

Jamie Foxx will definitely receive a nomination at next year’s Emmys as he’s already garnered a Golden Globe nomination for Best Performance in a Stand Up Special.

This was absolutely incredible.

It says he wrote it, which is double incredible bc comedians (Eddie Murphy , Kevin Hart etc) don't write their own specials without a team of writers.

If he did this by himself considering where he was just a year ago, that's flat out incredible. And to go and command a stage after not really doing standup for years is amazing

No he didn't. He didn't write RAW or Delirious

Kennan Ivory Wayans wrote portions of one of those. Taking nothing away from Eddie, but he had writers. It's not exactly hidden knowledge.

Just like Paul Mooney wrote for Richard Pryor.

That wasnt a comedy special...it was a variety hour. Homey hit you with jokes, music, testimony, and took you to church.

It was jarring how emotional he was. He was legit struggling to keep it together at times.

I’m hearing nothing but good things about this special me and wifey going to watch this tonight. Foxx was always a very underrated comedian to me.
