@ridedolo
He was caping for whites breh
I said "racist white people are the only problem with this world"
He replied "stay in yo lane"
How is that not defending whites lol
Dude even blocked me from the thread b
He meant stay out of black folks business
You deal with white supremacy like every other non white but you do not deal with racism. It's not just institutional, it's in every fukking sense of life. When you deal with racism, sometimes you don't even know what racism is. That said, some nikkas disgusted. As a Pakistani dude majoring in CS, I can kind of understand what dude is saying. Me and a couple friends applied to Microsoft's Explore program. My Mexican homie and two girls I know got an interview and job offer. I talked to one of the employees at the school career fair for like 10 minutes and he said I definitely felt like a good fit / did my research and that they'd contact me, but I didn't even get an interview
I had the best GPA of all my homies too
But overall, c'mon breh (@ dude who wrote this). I was looking at Google's demographics and it's 2% Black, 4% Hispanic, 35% Asian, and 56% White. Technically Pakistanis are a small ass group (apparently there's only 500k of us in the US per Wiki ) but we fall under Asian/Indian and most of us here are pretty well off or have a solid base in our parents, so I can't be too mad about it. We don't have to deal with institutional racism like my black brehs here, just typical white stuff. It's a shame that the %'s for blacks and hispanics are so low. We need to get more of them into STEM majors, but its hard when white people wont admit that institutional racism exists. Black people been here just as long as whites and were literally the backbone of the country when whites used their slave labor for everything, Jim Crow laws were still here till literally like forty years ago but people still think racism doesn't exist or that AA communities don't still feel the impact of racism and JC laws lol.
*looks around the office and sees one or two non-whites, gets triggered*I was looking at Google's demographics and it's 2% Black, 4% Hispanic, 35% Asian, and 56% White.
They could be. That will never stop shook ass cacs from trying this sort of bullshyt.I thought google was treating its employees good. A lot of tech and software companies seem to be pos. Thought the tech fields were open to diversity.
Not really all bout racism, but about cutting costs as well. They're going after low wage factory and construction jobs with automation, thereby cutting of a large class of Americans (minorities and poor whites) included, then they'll go after the engineers and automate those jobs. Someways its racism, but more often than not it's about consolidating the profits among a small group of people. They only get international labor for the brains, and cheap labor, but automation will get rid of them eventually.I'm more concerned with this tech industry racism, cause these are the people designing AI and other technologies. And if you know they operate on some WS code, than their products will reflect that and it will mean dire consequences for minorities...especially blacks.
"I feel like there's a lot of pushback from white/Asian dudes who genuinely feel like diversity is lowering the bar,"
I understand and agree with what they are saying...
Half way through this and it reads like an alt right newsletter.
After the firing the uber CEO starting to think that a majority of the white tech world thinks like this, always thought it was a liberal mecca of ideas.
Nah these silicone valley dweebs are the craziest ppl. Just reading some of the uber stories or gaming communities and what these writers and stuff do. Drugs, sexual harassment, racism etcI thought google was treating its employees good. A lot of tech and software companies seem to be pos. Thought the tech fields were open to diversity.
So you run your own business?again, running a business is too strong of a phrase for yall on this forum. in this day in age, not all businesses require u to be doing jumping jacks across the city.
ok, example - imagine ur a dude who happens to speak 4 popular languages fluently. what could u do with such a skill? besides being a translator?
again, if ur mind goes blank here, then, u shouldnt speak on business at all. at all!!

A company like google shouldn't be interested in diversity or diversity sake.
Can you expound on that?
