There would be no need for quotas, if people were solely judge on qualifications. The problem with Silicon Valley is that it's too much of an Old Boys Club than a place where the best minds exchange ideas and develop strategies.

This sounds good in theory but in IP, you need a lot of LIQUID capitol or AIs. These are usually out of reach for 99.9% of Black techies. Black people outside of the industry underestimate the cost that goes into this. This isn't as simple as a website and selling bullshyt on shopify.

This is the information age. You do not need millions of capital to get something poppin. If your knowledge can provide a solution to someones problems, it costs little to nothing to package that e.g. Informational video products, consulting, live coaching sessions, etc
