I agree to a degree but the problem with his types is that they don't want to put the final nail in the coffin. In the end, they'll take their foot off the gas on the final stretch and let these clowns have some breathing room to obstruct and whine for the sake of having a so called healthy discussion or 2 party system. Most of the damage is being done Executively which can only be reigned in by Congress: The Republican Majority won't do anything. Trump in a month has only signed two bills into law. The big spending package will be mashed through reconciliation if the Republicans come to agreement which means it can NOT be filibustered. Dems are having town halls and constantly sounding the alarm but...people didn't listen before election time, they aren't listening quite as much yet. The only way to really slam the breaks on this shyt is for Republicans to step so deep in shyt that regular people can't help but react. Expect Medicaid and Social Security to be major tipping points, but even those won't be enough. A giant recession might tip the dominoes, but too many Americans don't know how government work so they will wait it out.

No amount of "Dems: save us" is going to fix this. They dismantled the election cyber security task force, fired JAGs who are literally military lawyers...this election has the most consequences of any in a LONG fukking time. If somehow Democrats pulled a rabbit out of a hat, no lessons will be learned.

If Trump died today, we still have long-term consequences to deal with due to his fukking over allies (Ukraine being a huge blemish) like Canada who always bent over backward for us, and he exposed the system's weaknesses so hard that constitutional amendments will need to be passed in order to fix DEMOCRACY ITSELF. More people need to pay fukking attention. We were told what was coming and a great deal of the country did not know and/or did not give a fukk.

This is good but more important than more parties is removing money from politics, reforming what "news media" can call news, restoring fairness in reporting, breaking up a metric ton of monopolies, taxing the rich, etc...we don't need more parties to do just that much. Money needs to leave politics and enter school budgets because the population is fukking dumb.
