It’s costing us votes because too many groups got involved. When it was black and white, everyone understood that.

I actually do agree with this. And it took generations for white people to actually give a fukk about us. Folks are losing their mind about pronouns and gender. It's breaking the average Americans brain.

You have to think of white people (all people really, but white people hold the power in the US) like a cornered animal. Moving too quickly will have it lash out at you and not only hurt itself but you in the process. Giving people room to breath and make adjustments is unfortunately the proper way to make change.
It takes decades to make progress, but less than a year to tear it all down.
Does this even matter at this point? The president is defying orders from the Supreme Court and is now threatening to send US citizens to a Central American gulag. Its so absurd that so much of your focus is on this. Anyone more concerned about the representation of 1% of the population than our country becoming a dictatorship needs their fukking brain checked.

Oh so this is one of the things you were alluding to with the Democrats racist past.
It was actually the Democrats who helped inspire the "Southern Strategy",the strategy used by Republicans to appeal to white racist,leaving black people with no true autonomy as American voters.
There was a time where the Democrats were more racist than the Republicans. And due to voter supression by the Democrats,plus sheer numbers, The Republicand continued to get mollywhopped in elections. Then the Civil rights movement came,and by black people negotiating with the very people oppressing us. We begin to take a liking to those good ol white men in the Democratic party.
Republicans understood white racism,and knew southerners would be turned off by Democrats starting to cozy up with blacks. So they saw the opening and adopted the Southern Strategy to win back white racist in the south. They started winning elections again and havent looked back since

It's sad how you can point out to people that the trans panic is just a remix of the gay panic of various other panics the right have come up with to divert attention away from actual issues that materially affect other people's lives and they'll STILL go on about it. They have think tanks on how to make these non, or lesser issues prominent to non thinkers. Look over there CRT! Look over there DEI! Look over there trans athletes! And on and on and on.
The general position of Democrats is, and should be (whether you like them or not) that trans people exist, they face hardships in society and shouldn't be murdered or mistreated.
Again, they make up like 1% of the population. Out of 500,000 NCAA athletes, there are TEN TRANS ONES. As such, I really don't care about the issue in comparison to how much it's talked about. But people just can't resist focusing on shyt that doesn't matter.
This is a Republican driven effort to make it like some far out there trans activists on twitter (many of whom may be bots) or even in real life are representative of what the entire left focuses on. Lies, propaganda all of it are involved like the one about there being litter boxes in elementary schools. They've unfortunately been very successful at it, given all the stupidity in America but it doesn't change the facts at play. You have a non insignificant percentage of the population who thinks the trans zombie horde is right around the corner coming for their kids.
Meanwhile, we see the horrors of the Trump administration daily. shyt that will impact people's lives for potential generations. I can't care about people wanting to be called by pronouns given all of this. And anyone who does, is too stupid to function in society.
