Nah, I'm talking about skill and quality.

I'm saying Jay isn't better than B.I.G. because he wasn't able to make the kinda music B.I.G. did at that high of a level because he wasn't as talented as B.I.G. I'm not talking about what "the people" think or who had the whatever debut, etc.

My focus is on the talent. B.I.G. was doper. He could make any kind of song, and make it a classic. It’s also about what you do with the time you have. B.I.G. did more in a couple years, than most of these rappers, including Jay, have done in 30 years.
Where is Biggie Can I Live or Streets is Watching

or PSA

where I’m from

etc….

Bro, are you serious right now?

Have you actually listened to B.I.G.'s catalogue?

I know you're bored at work, but 1/2 of RTD and more than 1/2 of LAD are better than those joints.

You know that though.
That’s an opinion

biggie can’t make songs like Jay Z

Jay z can easily make a make believe song like Warning or Somebody Gots to Die or What’s Beef

Jay music is 1 of 1

Biggie has no real street tales in his music at all. Everything is OD exaggeration

Biggie and Jay music are nothing similar at all

i lean more to real shyt in my entertainment

Fam, B.I.G. started doing his thing in the street at 12-13 years old. He did all the dealer sh*t for years in-state and out of state, got arrested mad times for it, and made classic songs speaking on that and literally every other part of his life. Has million of songs covering all that. "I Got A Story to Tell" is based on his actual experiences. That really happened to him. A lot of his songs are like that.

Jay can't tell no damn stories as good as B.I.G. That's not even up for debate. For every track that Jay has, B.I.G. has a better version, and did it when he was wild younger than Jay.

I'm talking about storytelling. Not just street sh*t. Jay ain't on B.I.G.'s level. Never has been.

You said he was "over-exaggerating". Was G Rap really having shootouts with the Italian mafia? No. Was Chuck D really planning prison escapes and throwing guards off the roof? No. Was Scarface really on the run from the FBI because someone in his crew snitched on him? No. Cube wasn't really a dealer who got caught with weight because he lost his McDonald's job and needed to make money because he had a son while he was high school. He's telling a story. These are some of Hip Hop's best storytellers. That's not them "over-exaggerating". That's a skill to be able to tell stories and make them classic. Jay ain't got that.

These dudes make movies with their songs. Jay is phenomenal at a lot of sh*t, but he's limited in other areas. He can't do what B.I.G did. B.I.G. could make any kind of track, and at a level higher than all other rappers. There were literally no weaknesses in that dude's arsenal.

When Jay makes an album like RTD or LAD, you let me know.

B.I.G. popped up on the scene at 19 years old, and could make classic sh*t in his early 20's that Hov still hasn't been able to f*ck with.

Think about that.

To u lol

Biggie could never make a streets is watching

Biggie don’t even got a rep yo hood anthem like Where I’m From

or Devils

The skill that you have to posses to make your life sound interesting on record for almost 30 years is crazy.

Jay could made plenty meet the parents or soon you’ll understands

"Meet The Parents" was corny as sh*t. LOL!! And I worked on that album and many of his others!

Like I said, I can be objective when it comes to music. Go to Brooklyn and tell them that "Juicy" ain't their anthem. When that dropped, you couldn't go anywhere on Flatbush or East New York, and not hear that record all day. It's still like that today! Brooklyn belongs to B.I.G.

And "D'Evils" is one of my favorite tracks from Jay, but again, he's not on B.I.G.'s level. Like you would say, "to me". HAHA!!

Not "my" choice.

This is real life. You're not even from NYC, so you wouldn't know. But in Brooklyn, "Juicy" is anthem. When B.I.G. passed away, "Juicy" was playing all through the streets for weeks. I saw that in real-time, in Brooklyn. That's the song! Nobody in Brooklyn goes around playing "Where I'm From" to rep the borough. Another one of my favorite Jay joints, but the people ain't blasting that from cars. They're still going crazy for "Juicy" at every damn block party out there. Today!

You're from Detroit though. We can't be on here having no Brooklyn anthem talks, bro. LOL!! This is NYC sh*t.
