What were your favorite songs? Anything on the level of "Tuscan Leather" or "Pound Cake"? I always felt like Drake was the most entertaining when he's just rapping.

Its tough to recreate Tuscan Leather as that may be his best song ever tbh

I took it as him meaning tents/a box of pens and pads. A lots of these cats have writers and still sound trash.

Truth.

I was talking about the label actually bringing in 15-20 writers to pen the songs, not the artists sampled. Atlantic literally has a department that recruits writers for their roster. It's what Lupe what was boycotting against back in the day. Part of their 360 deals, is that they want you to take these pre-written joints for your album. They run the songs through test groups, and if they score well, they basically try to force you to put them on your project.

Pretty much sums up how i feel about the album

The songs were straight and too the point. He stayed his lane and didn’t try to be something he isn’t. I also like this album cause it didn’t wear out it’s welcome.

It’s pretty much day party music. Or something to play in the background while you talking to a chick or what not.
