The fact you got people like Bron openly supporting rappers who were alleged to shoot women

The teams stay playing the most explicit music during games. Save it with that family friendly bs. Yes he does need to keep better company, yes he should know better at this time. That’s for the league to handle

The outrage from the public & specifically black posters is shameful tho
They not playing nba youngboy during pre game

I absolutely know if he was white having a gun would not be a big deal to the general public

Hell most posters would say he invited to the cook out

Word to Tyler Herro
I 100% disagree with you. If said white person has the history that Ja had, no black person would want they ass at they cookout. Thats a crazy ass goofy statement. It again perpetuates the sterotype that we as black glorify guns and violence. Its wrong

Breh I’m not

I’ve never shown bias toward anybody on here. If I think they wrong I call em out.

Based on how the 1st incident went he should know better.

If he was white & having a gun this wouldn’t be a topic.

You're being disingenuous with what you are saying though. The issue isn't just that he "had a gun".

He's had incidents about trying to best up a teenager, trying to fight a Footlocker employee with his crew, his crew ellegedly pointing lasers at Pacers personnel, having the gun incident TWO months ago, and now this.

You know it's not "just having a gun".

It ain’t the company it’s him

Yeah just say you caping for him he’s a public figure people going to talk and he deserves to be condemned

MSG they don’t play explicit shyt I don’t know about the rest of these arenas and that’s irrelevant to the discussion

Let's say you're 100% right.

Doesn't that mean that Ja Morant as a Black person should have an understanding of this?

Why is it that we keep forgetting that Black people are Black in this country until we get different outcomes than white folk do?

Stop most of the outrage is strictly because he has a gun. Majority of people don’t know/care or aren’t factoring prior incidents into anything

But again my point goes back to this same anger isn’t being shown towards other athletes/people in general

I’ve said in here several times at this point he should know better

I’m more disappointed in black posters piling on because the media directs them too

Have yall considered that WE grew up before Rap become all consuming? THat we grew up with parents who were more than likely older teenagers/ adults during the Crack era and had a different set of values and perception of the world?

Because kids who are Morants age and younger are not growing up the same. They are young enough to be OUR kids and 50 cent is old school to them.

IF we are going to put some of the blame on music, understand, these kids dont have acts like Heavy D, ATCQ, The Jacksons, and old school r&b, funk, jazz, soul, etc that reflect a different side of Black culture. Its just Drill, Trap, and Porno music and because of that street culture is synonymous with Black culture. Ask yourself why Chicago Street Terms like opps, drill, action, etc became so intertwined with modern day culture.

This isn't a vet issue as these problems are happening outside of the locker room and NBA. It's weird that people keep thinking that one would change Ja's ways.

Dillion Brooks and his antics is/was a vet issue.
I agree. I say the same thing about kpj and Houston youth when all these folks keep saying they need all these vets to get rifht
