Drake shyts on Cole too. The question from 2009 has been long since answered.

I was talking to a friend of mine recently...I worry about people who listen to Cole seriously/regularly. Do ya'll have social lives? I mean how do you all stomach the fact that he can essentially be replaced and you won't miss him?

Drake does what no one else does

Cudi does him

Wale is STILL trying to find himself, but hes pretty decent

Big Sean is a goddamn beast

Cole? I mean whats his deal? Dude doesn't know if he wants to be conscious (which he sucks at) or go commercial (which is like room temperature coffee)...Dude is just average. It is what it is.

Cole is easily better than Drake, I don't even get where dudes get the Drake comparisons from.
J. Cole's production (which is mostly self produced...) doesn't sound sh1t like 40's (which is also good..).
I agree that his album has a tough time messing with his mixtape but when I last listened to it, without playing any of his other material before hand it stands pretty damn well on it's own.

Another thing I think people forget is it has a lot of older songs, some of the stuff on that album was 4 to 5 years old by the time it hit retail and he'd clearly progressed by FNL, showing the skill gap rapping and production wise since then.

This. Second album will show that.

Any man that cosigns Drake over Cole needs to take a serious look in the mirror...unless you a youngster...

Cole's verse on Pray was one of the best verses on Jesus Piece
