I feel totally the opposite.
This album rides the whole way through to me His most concise and cohesive work IMO.

Cole spittin on this, but it’s lacking something I can’t put my finger on. I think Forest Hill Drive is his best overall album, but 4YEO has a few of the best songs in his catalogue.
