more like an album he felt like making. apparently is getting played on the radio and no role modelz has radio potential. this is his best album.

I don't want to take this or make this appear extreme, but Cole is basically the closest thing, artistically, to 'Pac sense 'Pac's murder. And I don't mean that they're personality and behavior are identical or that one is as good or equal to the other lyrically. I mean, there haven't BEEN such a MC that can be polarizing at his prime YET somehow able to connect to masses of all races, ages, and cultural backgrounds by speaking the real without compromise to who they are. Most MC's today (and even back then) are pigeonholed to some kind of character, or persona, or are forced limited to talk or rap about one subject or environment. 2pac rapped about EVERYTHING and did in such a way that even the hardest brotha would feel it or the most feminine of woman love it. It's not a coincidence since Cole's idol IS 'Pac but he has clearly reached that lane to where no matter whut he spit, people, fans & haters, will listen.

I agree with the critics, its mediocre but its sstill his best album

it just shows how bad is catalog is

Imma need to see him do a performance of Fire Squad at the Grammies or somethin. MTV Awards. Somethin. Just RIP. IT. UP. This nikka came with all his energy on this album at points. That song just has a goddamn classic sort of vibe. This album is growing on me more and more somethin seriously.

my only issue is that "I'm just playing" shyt. Sounded corny. Woulda been 10/10 if not for tht to me

Yeah might as well just say it straight up. When the media run with it they not gonna quote the I'm just playin part anyway. Plus everybody know you ain't playing. Still a good song though.
