Agreed. It's not on the album tho. He just made this a month or so ago in memory of Michael Brown & the deaths by cop.

I know cole has it in him to be the best but he's not making the best overall music he can make with these albums...IMO.

He really just made that song as a reaction to Michael Brown's death, not to be a part of his album. As an artist, he just had something to express about that situation.

I was crazy critical of the first couple albums.

But in all honesty, with this new album, there aren't many MC's who are making better music than Cole right now. He's kinda made a statement with this album. A standard's been set.

Fat white dudes that talk about music like this have no business speaking on something that relates to black males, he's an outsider trying to review something that is outside his world. I hate people like this, 10 years ago he's the type of person that would say Aesop rock or Sage Francis is better than Nas.
