A song not even on his album is what he chose to perform.
i'll revist it it today and report back. all i can recall off the top of my head is the 2nd half got real preachy. should prob note i'm not a christian or anything which might be why it's annoying to me. not tryna alienate any fans of it. the production was on point but as a non-christian the lyrics were just annoying and i feel like you could reach broader appeal with those beats and non-preachy bs.how?
second half of this album gets real "singy" but it aint drake singing. i've heard people say cole is just as preachy and you might be right, but i don't hate on a man preaching positivity as opposed to religion.
this is easily in the top 3 albums this year for me btw (minus wet dreams which i've since deleted). prob #2 after cilvia demo just off how much i've been playing.

I'm sure they'll be some people who go and get the album because of that performance looking for that song and being disappointed that it's not on there.

wet dreams is whack to me. i aint a virgin breh and i could relate to his story when i was like 15, but listening to someone rap about losing their virginity when you lost yours a decade ago is just awkward.
Not really sure how to feel about this. Album doesn't seem to have any commercial tracks on it. This is one of those albums an artist makes when they're just sick of being criticized for making mainstream music. I mean its not a bad album at all but I'll have to listen a bit more to reach a verdict. I'd say at the moment I prefer the better songs of Born Sinner to this. This album is consistent but at the same time there isn't a track I gravitate towards but I kinda like "Apparently".
