Because everyone and their mom in gaming post there and if they don’t, they pay attention to what’s posted there. It’s like the epicenter of gaming news, leaks, sources.

a lot of these gaming sites get all their news directly from there because the insiders have to verify their sources

From my viewpoint, the negatives outweigh the positives. Sounds like you can catch a ban super easy, and taking the word of "insiders" word as gospel is how people get set up for perpetual disappointment.

yeah I mean, the less active you are there prob the better but it’s an aggregate for gaming news for me. It’s easier than checking blogs, social media, Reddit

The worst thing about this forum is that you never know what you’re gonna say that’ll get you banned. You could post something thou think is normal, go to another forum and then come back hours later and you get the “oops you’ve been banned” message.

It’s basically a lottery every time you log back in just crossing your fingers hoping you haven’t been banned. What kinda bullshyt is this

I got banned a while ago. If you have an opinion and voice it you'll probably be banned at some point. It's not really a place for discussion. It's a place where people who have a narrow perspective to gather and say the same thing over and over again.
