I gotta agree. People went out and talked to each other a lot more than we do now.mostly the lack of social media and instant communication made it the last true era where personal interaction mattered.

Saw it 2 years ago in iMax with my dad and brothers in 3d. Unreal how well that movie has aged. Looks as good if not better than many movies today.Movies in the 90s were dope because it was the beginning of the big summer blockbuster trend...as well it was when they started to really introduce CGI
Compare movies in the 80s to movies in the 90s. 80s movies were campy, used prostehtics, and stuff...90s movies actually had more depth and personality to them.
I remember the first time I saw Jurassic Park in the theaters...blew me away!
This right here
Yep...the mall was where the show was at. All the honeys would be at the mall on friday saturday...grab the newest cd, tape, video you wanted, pick up some gear, grab some eats, just hang out and shoot the shyt.Remember back then when going to the mall was a thing. shyt was like a trip to the theme park, like an all day event. Malls aren't shyt now, most of the ones around me have all but closed down.
MAAAN this place was loaded with videos...they had a spot right in the cut of Military Circle Mall near what still is Dillards. We got all our videos from here (when we wanted to buy them shyts)
When I was 14 I didn't have access to the world. I mean if I wanted to meet a friend at the mall it was a EVENT, and you had to hope they showed up. I don't even know if teens now know what it means to set something up get somewhere miss meeting someone somewhere and not being able to contact them because there is no way to contact them until you both get home.
