Movies in the 90s were dope because it was the beginning of the big summer blockbuster trend...as well it was when they started to really introduce CGI
Compare movies in the 80s to movies in the 90s. 80s movies were campy, used prostehtics, and stuff...90s movies actually had more depth and personality to them.

I remember the first time I saw Jurassic Park in the theaters...blew me away!
Saw it 2 years ago in iMax with my dad and brothers in 3d. Unreal how well that movie has aged. Looks as good if not better than many movies today.

Remember back then when going to the mall was a thing. shyt was like a trip to the theme park, like an all day event. :wow: Malls aren't shyt now, most of the ones around me have all but closed down. :smugdraper:
Yep...the mall was where the show was at. All the honeys would be at the mall on friday saturday...grab the newest cd, tape, video you wanted, pick up some gear, grab some eats, just hang out and shoot the shyt.

Now with the internet who needs malls? Yeah...dead malls are piling up like flies.

When I was 14 I didn't have access to the world. I mean if I wanted to meet a friend at the mall it was a EVENT, and you had to hope they showed up. I don't even know if teens now know what it means to set something up get somewhere miss meeting someone somewhere and not being able to contact them because there is no way to contact them until you both get home. :mjlol:

But we always found each other at the end of the night because every 90's kid was a borderline stalker :shaq:

Remember the feeling of getting a girls number back in high school? Sure it would be a house phone and you would have to deal with a dad when you called (and eventually have the parents kick you off the line :russ:) but the high of getting some where with said chick can't be matched with friending/following some chick on social media.

before cell phones we also had to get sneak to sneak out at night and sometimes that would involve camping out waiting fr the parents lights to go out, getting the signal from the chick that it was go time (i.e. flicking the bedroom light 3 times or some shyt like that), and if everything went well we'd be chilling all night.
