The 90's was great because it was the perfect mixture of history and potential, from human relations to social aspects to technological ones and entertainment. If you had a gameboy, you could sit back and think... "man one day the graphics are going to be in full color and high res, or it'll be in 3d and you'll be able to battle people worldwide"

Thats not the case anymore, no one cares about history like that anymore and the future is looking bleek. People are more in touch with each other than ever before, but there is more of a disconnect than ever before. Sex, highs and money use to be for the underbelly of the city or town. Now its status quo...

Now I'm just like :yeshrug: wake me up when that Matrix shyt happens.

mostly the lack of social media and instant communication made it the last true era where personal interaction mattered.
This.

I remember the first time I saw a cellphone...my dad had one in his Benz back in 1994...then when I was in high school freshman year all the girls had those nokia phones...

These ones.

When I was 14 I didn't have access to the world. I mean if I wanted to meet a friend at the mall it was a EVENT, and you had to hope they showed up. I don't even know if teens now know what it means to set something up get somewhere miss meeting someone somewhere and not being able to contact them because there is no way to contact them until you both get home. :mjlol:

Movies in the 90s were dope because it was the beginning of the big summer blockbuster trend...as well it was when they started to really introduce CGI
Compare movies in the 80s to movies in the 90s. 80s movies were campy, used prostehtics, and stuff...90s movies actually had more depth and personality to them.

I remember the first time I saw Jurassic Park in the theaters...blew me away!
