And MJ has his own intact legacy before Beyonce & her rabid cheerleaders would be better suited trying to rehab her reputation as a mediocre talent who over exceeded than worrying about ever being as renowned & cherished as MJ

There's nothing mediocre regarding Beyoncé' or her talent and to say so is just flat out hate. Beyoncé doesn't have to worry about being "renowned and cherished as MJ" because she is renowned and cherished in her own right in her own time. That woman is whole legend at this point whether y'all like it or not.

HeeHees get tight in the chest when Beyoncé is just being praised as the talent she is meanwhile the media is on a campaign to literally demean and erase MJ's accomplishments and replace him with a non black person. Bad Bunny is the "King of Pop" all of sudden and Taylor can be mentioned in the same breath as Michael but you worried about the BeyHive and Beyoncè?? Very interesting.

Yup and I'm sure since MJ is much more successful and popular than Beyoncé Israelis bump his music too. Beyoncé hate is so forced at this point. And corny.

The whole family loved MJ

What weird little kids are dancing to Beyoncé’s new music …

Not since single ladies …

And before that … not since Destiny’s Child ..

Let me just say, using the sales of her movie is a bad faith argument. Michael’s movie was made posthumously. It’s like with the Dark Knight being released after Heath Ledger’s death: the hype around it will never be matched.

I’ll give Beyonce props… she is an amazing performer. She’s the closest to MJ, James Brown, Prince when it comes to live performances. She can sing live well and put on a show. She puts a lot of artists today to shame.

That being said, she is NOT an artist. A true artist doesn’t need a dozen song writers and producers to make an album. That’s what performers do. Sticking your name on as a song writer for changing one or two words is a joke.

This is not to denigrate performers because Whitney Houston was a performer but she is highly revered because of her voice. Same with Usher. He’s not known for his penmanship but he’s one of the best performers ever.

Artists are Stevie Wonder, Mariah Carey, Prince, MJ, Nina Simone. People who can write/Co-write their own songs as well as play instruments. These “Bey-hive” deter casual fans because they hype her up on fallacious arguments.

Once Beyonce pens a whole album with only one or two producers, with her being the sole writer of at least half the album (or at least only one or two others), then you can put her up in the upper echelon of artists. For now, she’ll always be known as an elite performer.

If I’m wrong… define the ‘Beyonce sound’. You can’t because she’s never had her own identity. She used the hottest producers to give her a sound. Just like Justin Timberlake needed the Neptunes and Timbaland.

Prince had his own sound. Michael Jackson did. James Brown. Stevie Wonder. Beyonce NEVER has. And as much as I’m not a fan of Taylor Swift, I respect she knows how to write her own songs (with Co-writers), and not with a dozen producers with song writing camps.
