One of these is a movie about a guy that dropped a couple months after he died.

The other is a movie about a tour that just finished that everyone who would want to see the movie already attended.

I’m guessing if she died instead of toured this movie would do better numbers.

Yet they are and I've been trying to figure out why FOR YEARS. MJ loved Bey and vice versa but his fans get upset any time Beyoncé is doing something. Like her movie is getting awesome reviews right and over performing estimates and instead of congratulating a Black American woman on her successes they want to demean her talent as an artist.

At the end of the day, none of the marginal, manufactured music artists you've mentioned will ever hold a candle to a prodigy like MJ, the King of Pop, musically or socially.

MJ stans need to admit they're frustrated that Michael's personal life has overshadowed his successes with a portion of the general public and combat that, instead of making Beyoncé stans(and Beyoncé herself) the scapegoat.

But in terms of “influence” I mean shyt, visually her video drops were on par with MJ’s in terms of quality/production. Again I can’t ever call myself a fan (cause fukk Jay Z) but you can’t deny she got the catalogue let alone the range that Mariah wishes she had.

I don't think anybody can ever compete overall to be better than the King of Pop. (Catalog from Jackson 5, The Jacksons and solo music, album sales, and etc)

However, performing on the stage is where things could be up for discussion since MJ in his 40's stop consistently singing live while she sings live and puts on a great show.
