The idea that a man shouldn't do anything in the household if he pays bills has no real world relevance. Men were changing diapers 40 years ago while being the sole provider in a better economic situation. Men were cutting the grass and doing most yardwork. Marriage is a partnership. It can either be a good partnership or a bad one.
If it's a partnership there are roles, responsibilities and duties. Without them there is no structure and a whole lot of bullshyt that come in the foreseeable future. If he's busy working and paying all the bills it's a part of obligation and duties. Women can live alone and pay their own bills many today don't need a financial provider.

The fact you brought up men cutting grass basically reveals you do understand there are roles and duties. Then you proceed to bring up changing diapers which is not a woman only trait/duty. If a man is a provider he should be getting home cooked meals and be coming home to clean house. If you want to go 50/50 then yes go wash dishes and do your part with this "partnership" that works for you.
