It's sometimes hard to figure out which race some people are mixed with

There is NO mix in her...Once you introduce non-black genes, they never go away...

Look at Bob Marley, he was half white and half black, he had children with Rita Marley, who was as dark as midnight, and all his children are "Light skinned"...

Black people who have even a little non-dark DNA in them, don't look the same as "pure" black people...

For example, Black Americans don't look the same as Black Africans...For the most part...

Blacks come in all shades. Only self hating blacks try to identify as mixed or Biracial, including those with a white parent. You're black, period. That's how we see you, and that is how you should identify yourself as.

More than likely his "black" side has white or another race with it. I knew a few biracial people who were that shade and had features like that and it was because one parent was 3/4 black and the other parent full white
