Netflix and Amazon have been making blockbuster/and or award winning films "in house" for a while. If we're being honest, from a business standpoint, Amazon has been winning because their model already accounted for their streaming platform to be a loss. Plus you can buy whatever Amazon Video doesn't have through the app.Yeah this easily positions them number one as far as streaming service content goes. And it’s not even close.
My projector purchase looking strong right now
Amazon has very limited original content.but the fact it’s free with prime it’s still a great streaming app. And Netflix makes 9 D budget films before they produce something even worthy of any award. Netflix has the most worst batting percentages for their originals .Netflix and Amazon have been making blockbuster/and or award winning films "in house" for a while. That's why I put in house in quotes. There is such a thing as Amazon Studios, but these guys are largely distributors.i think they "buy" more than the "make" in house.
amazon is different cause the video service really isnt their company.. its an accessory
I don't think this is a move to do when you expect to make profits tho. Some of these movies probably will, but if WW is going to lose money, im pretty damn sure Dune will. Matrix probably will also. So it's one of those things where the consumers may rejoice but yeah, you're right. they'd have to raise prices to make it sustainable
Warner Media showing they don’t give a damn about these theaters.
