I write this with somewhat of a regional bias because nikkas outside of the Tri-State can never fully comprehend what Max was and his movement. Many of us from NY, NJ such as myself and CT are able to understand and see where Max was headed because we saw it with 50. We saw it with the Dips. Its a certain aura and building in the streets where we can just tell that a certain artist is on his way to greatness, possibly KONY status. It aint no coincidence that people are still praising his music years after his incarceration. His contribution to the game from merely mixtapes is the stuff of legends.

powerful post.

just.........

powerful.

So he doesn't have a definitive release? I've been wanting to get into his music for a while, just didn't know where to start

Start with the Public Domain and Million Dollar Baby series

Then do Goon Music and Coke Wave

And his unreleased album Vigilante Season

Im forgetting a lot tho. His catalog is too deep. I have been a fan since "Confront Ya Babe" and I'm still finding music I never heard

Its funny to hear his phases too. I can tell pretty much exactly when this song was recorded for example (MDB2 era- sounds like the song "What It Do" off that tape and he's still reppin Byrd Gang)

Vigilante Season is an official album and is actually a great compilation with a few new tracks

The Library of a Legend has all Max B tracks.

Nothing is beating Quarantine for me though :wow:

So, true. Just like I listen to 20 year old Tupac tracks, I'm here listening to 10 year old Max B tricks like its normal.
