WP8 will fall even further now that BB10 is out and poppin...if WP8 can't get into enterprise and make use of the office suite installs then I don't see how they can be successful against Android or IOS. BB10 seems to have a solid product that will curb the attrition and perhaps grow usage.

I think they are too far gon as far as the public sector goes. Everybody i know threw away their Blackberrys a long time ago.

MS current strategy will be copied by iOS and Android.

Lol WP8 is a new product about what 5 months in. People in here are stupid with their failure predictions like MS was supposed to just take over a market as soon as WP8 got released. It'll take time but MS is doing a great job.

you suppose to get your app situation straight! M$ knows that is key unless they live under a rock. You pay them dudes to make apps for you until you get the user base up.

classic chicken-egg problem. User want apps first. Business want the user base.

WP8 will just continue where WP7 left off. Nothing will change.

Windows Phone 8 is head and shoulders above the competition when is comes to form and function. Once the app situation is ameliorated expect Windows Phone to crush the proverbial buildings in the smart phone race.

m$ gonna have to make the apps themselves like they did the facebook one, lol.

app developers want the user base first so they can make money. M$ will have to pay these various developers otherwise it will be strictly android and IOS.

My problem with Windows 8 is that it doesnt feel fully baked yet.

I hate the fact that when I try to open up the calculator it rips me back into the desktop. Same with notepad too...two programs I use all the damn time.

I felt like a beta tester for the majority of the time I was using it. The bright spots were REALLY bright (camera) but the lows were atrocious (MORE closed system than iOS without the ecosystem)

Kind of kills your point right?
incorrect, and catchup.

i said smart phones are already on par with old PC's. a little bitty phone that i can hold in my hand has the processing power of a desktop 10 years ago. at WORSE. 5 years ago at best at the moment. it will get a lot better over the course of a few years. eventually your smart phone will be as powerful as your current mac,pc of today. and that will be in a few more years. so if you NEED to do work on your phone you can. and do it well. if you need to program on your phone, you will have that capability. if you need to make music on your phone .... wait, you can already do that RIGHT NOW.
