If you meant few windows 8 apps like tunein radio, fruit ninja etc than are found on any other tablet in a much larger quantity then yes .


Fact is I want microsoft to succeed, I WILL switch to windows 8 on my pc, but these RT tablets @ 500$ . Also I hear that lumias are flopping, so its not really a good look for microsoft

Lumias sales fell as a result of people holding off on purchasing lumias in anticipation for the new Windows 8 smartphones, especially the 920. Preorders for the 920 are doing well.

So yeah, its going to Bea great upcoming year for M$ IMHO

Apple and Google are announcing products that will be released in time for the holiday season like every company ever in the history of capitalism.


As for Microsoft, they're like Oracle. Yeah they're important but no one really gives a fukk.

Just because you keep repeating the Mantra that no one gives a fukk doesn't make it true.

For the record, I expect these Surface RT sales to be anemic early on, but as Windows 8 becomes more mainstream I expect sales to pick up dramatically. The Surface Pro tablets will sell like gang busters though.

And please don't compare surface pro tablets to iPads y'all. These will be full PCs. Furthermore both the RT and the Pro tabs will have full wireless peripheral support, including Bluetooth mice, keyboards, and other Xbox accessories.

Smartphone adoption is just around 40% in the US and far lower internationally. The race for mobile OS dominance is far from over playa.

As far as desktop dominance, I think we all know who is running things in that department....

This is my the windows experience of mobile and desktop OS integration is so compelling. By right Apple should have gone this route a while back. But they were to busy gimping their products in order to maximize profits so....

X86/x64 programs have all the functionality that people need now, but best believe M$ is pushing for the closed app ecosystem model ala The iTunes Store. Most large app makers are currently working on new Metro Style apps for their legacy software.

Embrace the future brehs....

-No App to use custom ringtones
-Cant snap pictures from recording video
-And no Instagram App
But Besides the App market the phone is great..i Love the

-Live updated tiles
-Camera is Nice
-Internet Speed is Good
-Has Office
-Nice Screen Size

no doubt it sucks, but those new phones look so good i dont even mind upgrading. Lumia 900 owners are getting Windows 7.8 though if that is any constellation.

imagine having to jailbreak a pc cause you want to run something not in the windows store.

anyways...they dropped a dud so far. It looked cool for a tablet...thats about it. Can't imagine photoshop being done with swipping a finger on an app...they gonna have to create a stylus or something if they want to replace a PC even on the photo editing level.

The Desktop is suppose to be our canvas!!!! i wouldn't mind the ability have some tiles on the side to replace gadgets or the system tray that can give me notfication of things or sync with a windows phone/windows pad....but it is too evasive for a traditional pc. sure you can play real computer games of the surface pro...but nothing powerful.




after failure microsoft always comes back strong....i'll be good with windows 7 until microsoft gets the picture. DID THEY TEST THIS ON PEOPLE?!??! *ball dropped*




what did windows 8 improve or make simpler on the pc (that's what the sucess of microsoft was built on, lol!!!!)?...it's like they put windows 3.1 (program manager) on top of windows 95 (start menu). what the crap?!??!

The OS is better yes...but the overall presentation is crap.
