It’s crazy how Gen Z basically turned millennials into an afterthought

Growing up(born 94) all remember hearing was older ppl speak on millennials. Good and bad(mainly bad). Millennials were literally supposed to change the world(good or bad) but instead it seems like we pretty much just came and went. Fast forward to present day, Gen x and even boomers seem to have more social clout than Millennials. Gen Z seems to be everything people assumed Gen Y would be and are clearly the most polarizing generation yet.

The best things that happened in the Gen Z generation is remote work (the migration leaving toxic jobs) and Chat GPT

Quiet quitting started to take off during the pandemic. The search for economic freedom got higher especially during the crypto rush.

Gen Z overthrown millennials because they're the voice of the today's internet. Millennials were the main influence decade/two decades ago when they were teenagers and twenty years olds

Millennials era was 90's orientated. The homage of the 90's was seen in music, fashion, swag, etc. The main trendsetter goes to Generation X. Gen X is birth a majority of today's pop culture mannerisms, swag, fashion, etc.

you would have to wait another 10-20 years to answer this question.

i think boomers and gen x did more in their 20's but they were pretty much settled down/washed by 35 with the exception of the most talented artists, entrepreneurs and politicians.

Millennials will have more impact in our 30's and 40's because we look younger if we took care of ourselves, many of us aren't married and/or don't have kids, and maybe some floundered a bit out of the gate in their early 20s and finally hitting their stride now. The economy made it easier for boomers and gen x to come out of the gate making moves early.

Millennials got jaded after Obama turned out to be a nothingburger. 9/11 eroded our liberties and alot of use can remember the financial crisis of '08 ravaging the working class.
After Occupy Wall Street failed and so many uprisings got crushed, we got fukking grinded down.

Gen Z saw their classmates and people globally getting bodied by disease and watched the new wave of fascism sweeping around the world. Entering a workforce that has no intentions of hiring them at a fair wage. Having to worry about dodging bullets instead of dodgeballs at school. Climate change winding up. can't blame them for just going "fukk it :manny: ".
