These nikkas living in fantasy land. People rarely go around quoting kdot cause he aint shyt.
This nikka has no idea how many quotable verses and even lines alone are legendary from biggies 94-95 run.

You could make that vague comparison that Drake is more popular music / club oriented / bangers and Kendrick is more of a "serious music" guy, but nah. Real talk I think both Drake and Kendrick are more creative and musically talented than Jay and Nas. Don't get it twisted, I'm NOT saying they're better rappers than Jay and Nas, but I do think they make better music.

Whatever your craft is, you're supposed to get better with age. Jay-Z's output post Black Album has been pretty mediocre. Nas's output post It Was Written was super inconsistent too. They haven't grown as artists much either, pretty much making the same music they been making for 15 years. You think any of them could make a track like ADHD? Nah. Could they make an album as fresh, cohesive and moody as GKMC? Nah.

I think after To Pimp a Butterfly come out, we're gonna see just how great Kendrick really is. He ain't simply a rapper, he's an artist.

Whoa.....

And this is why people make fun of Kendrick stans. You simply don't understand hip hop at all. You look at hip hop through the eyes of your favorite artist and not through an objective, far-reaching perspective.

To be fair, you're probably young and you're judging this music with an immature brain. When you grow up, you'll realize that what you've said is utter bullshyt.

the most quotable thing Kendrick has ever said is "ya bish", judging by the amount of times his fans drop it in online comments.

That tells me everything I need to know about how mature his fans are.

LMAO,kendrick did not have a year like biggie's year following the release of their debuts.
Though biggie dropped in 94',and 2pac and bone dropped in 95',biggie was clearly the face of hiphop in 95'.
That was his year. Kendrick has never dominated a year in hiphop ever. And he never will.
Kendrick didnt have singles to match
Warning
Juicy
Big poppa
One more chance remix

Kendrick wasnt featured on songs with his crew that could rival
Get money
players anthem
Total's can't u see
flava in ya ear remix
(all with unforgettable verses)

Only feature kendrick did that meant something was that control farce
Other than that his presennce on other records has meant nothing
Biggie's artist lil kim had a better run off her first album than kendrick did.

Kendrick never had a dominant year??? Sooooo 2012-2013 didn't exist.
Sooooooo, he didn't break the entire internet by his one song stealing verse with Control
So songs like:
Poetic Justice
Swimming Pools
bytch Don't Kill My Vibe
Madd City

Weren't major hits... and lets not even talk about the Money Trees

We don't going to speak on the uproar for Kendrick getting snubbed at the Grammy's
Nor the memorable Grammy performace
Nor the memorable BET Hip Hop Cypher verse

Or the fact he's the MOST anticipated rapper coming out this year... all off the strength of GKMC.

But this isn't similar to how Biggie.... whutever.

compare kendricks voice to nas and the comparison breaks down. as much as i love kendrick his voice is his weakness. wheras nas voice is one of his strengths.

no it was no where near biggies level. NO them songs wasn't popping like that to rival biggie. That control gimmick was corny cause he ducked when nikkas swung back while hoping and praying Drake would give him some attention. No he did not come close to being the face of hip hop. That Grammy uproar was more about the white boy winning

What tour is he headlining? Has he ever even had a world tour or even US tour to promote his music. Stop spreading lies.
I shouldnt have said headlining, I was talking about his 2013 Summer tour in which he did pretty big stages in every festival in like 40 different cities across the world. In any event word is that they are doing a tde tour this year, he's already one of the headlining names at big festivals in Europe (4th name att bonnarro f ex).

Don't compare dude to Hov

I fuk with some of his joints but most of his music is for fuk boys and bytches

Hov had street joints that went hard

Drake says some of the softest shyt of all time:mjlol:

Can all you dumb ass bums that keep talkin bout "don't compare them to Jay Z and Nas" stay the fukk out my thread? It's clear the public school system failed you cause you clearly can't read for shyt.

This isn't about comparing Drake and Jay's catalogue and determining who is better. Obviously Jay wins that you simpleton. The point is that Drake is the Jay of this era in terms of popularity and influence and Kendrick is the Nas of this era.

And all you J Cole stans tryna get ya boy in the argument ... :camby:

both nas and jay have touched on subject matter that kendrick is about to rehash and you young motherfukkers will eat up this reheated bullshyt like it has been cooked by a world-class cook not knowing that the nikka is feeding you microwaved shyt.
:heh:kendrick being a better 'artist' or rapper than a nikka who has given us too many classic conceptual tracks.
:what:jay and nas have both made more than 10 songs better than adhd individually!!

:shaq2:some of you are really showing your age in this bytch!!

Nas is Gucci Mane and Jay-z is Jeezy
Jay-z is Ludacris and Nas is T.I.

I know this game of equating random rappers.

These rappers are too damn unique to be other rappers.
Kendrick sounds nothing like Nas, nothing at all and Drake sounds nothing like Jay. They don't rap about the same things, don't act the same way, nothing. The only comparison I can see is that Drakea. Kendrick are very commercially successful just like Jay was.

Duckworth >>>>>>>>>>> naS

but them nikkaz aint nowhere near the level of a Jigga and Drake....
:snoop:
it goes nas>>>>>>>>>>>>>>jay-z>>>>>>>>>>>>>>the other two
These parallels these c00ns try to force dont make no fukkin sense...

So, nikkaz swear up and down that Biggie was the rapper and Pac was the superstar... naS was the rapper and Jay is the superstar... Duckworth is the rapper and Drake is the superstar...

but nikkaz swear up and down that Jay is a Biggie clone... and we all know naS tries his damnedest to be Pac... Drake is clearly better at rappin than Duckworth.

So which is it c00ns, is Jay a Biggie clone and thus "the rapper" and is naS the Pac clone and thus not "the rapper"?
