Apathy’s a Tragedy & Boredom is a Crime
One of my GOAT film characters of all time
Put some respec on that man Hardy's nameI couldn't take him serious with that weird voice
And we all know since it was Tom Hardy he probaly wanted to fukk Batman
Now you gotta ask yourself, was Bane really that good of a villian or are all these other villians are weak and/or forgetable?
Shout out to Faora and Loki. The only 2 that could be mentioned.
There's been better movies, but maybe like 3 better characters hero or villian with quotables like Bane.
Bane: [to Stryver] Leave us!
John Daggett: No! You stay here, I'm in charge!
Bane: [puts his hand on Daggett's shoulder] Do you *feel* in charge?
[Stryver leaves]
John Daggett: I paid you a small fortune.
Bane: And this gives you *power* over me?
John Daggett: What is this?
Bane: Your money and infrastructure have been important... 'til now!
John Daggett: What are you?
Bane: I'm Gotham's reckoning. Here to end the borrowed time you've all been living on!
John Daggett: You're pure evil!
Bane: I'm *necessary* evil!

There are mad movies where the villain wins.I just want one movie where the villian wins
Speaking of which I would like to nominate James Buchanan 'Bucky' Barnes as best villain in recent comic book lore. His body count is impressive and he has given a few superheroes that work. He doesn't have quotables but his actions scenes are always memorable. This is true, but since the MCU is attempting to give villains multiple appearances now (Loki, Zemo, Mordo) I wouldn't be surprised if someone surpasses him.
That said, I also wouldn't be surprised if someone didn't
Mix of both. Now you gotta ask yourself, was Bane really that good of a villian or are all these other villians are weak and/or forgetable?
