This is silly.
What do you expect them to do? They spent two years warning the country about this. We all saw January 6th, we all saw how he acted in the first term. Trump is doing what he said he was going to do and now people expect the Dems to do something when they don't control any government branch. Too little too late at this point. You better hope the Army or the CIA does something behind the scenes or hope that we make it to the mid terms as a republic. Other than that, this is simply the reality we are stuck with.

Informative video especially from 1:04:40. A lot of people don't know how these things work and their anger outweighs their knowledge. It seems like a blackout when they got done in while they were heading home. The Senate, yes, block appointments. The house...eh...unfortunately Republicans run it. As long as Dems don't give pre-emptive support for shyt, the thin Republican majority isn't a sure thing.
Basically, and this is something that always brings a little bit of comfort, some Republicans (or most, who knows) still believe midterms will be a thing. Not everyone is bought in so far that they believe all of those things will be tossed or rigged and they are going to try to survive Trump and not have their careers ended. I hope to see lots of fight but its inevitable the people are going to have to put pressure on these mawfukkas cause America didn't vote for strong opposition.
