1. I gave the entire statline points included. I actually don’t care if he’s a scorer or not. That won’t be his role in a Kerr systemIllegal screens happen. Looney is considered a good screener and he got called for illegal screens throughout the playoffs and finals.
Again harping on rebounds, did you see Wiseman give up any offensive rebounds when he was on the floor?
You’re excited to point out how many fouls he had, if he’s fouling then that means he never had a chance to grab a rebound because the other team is at the free throw line or inbounding the ball…..
Not sure why you posted his points, he was extremely efficient, he just didn’t get many touches…
2. If he set good screens, I’d be fine with some illegal ones. But he sets BAD screens. The overwhelming majority of his screens aren’t good. He has a tendency to even SLIP screens. He’s a bad screener. Looney, on the other hand is an excellent screener. He does get called for them but he sets way more excellent screens than bad or illegal ones. Same deal with Bogut, and even Ezeli.
3. The warriors played 11 guys last night. Of all the guys that played, he was 3rd from the bottom in rebounds. Again, there’s no arguing HIS POSITIONING ON THE COURT is bad. He doesn’t fight through physicality to get positioning. We have empirical data to show that he isn’t good on the boards. You’re debating against history at this point. He’s not a good rebounder
4. He’s way too foul prone still. There’s no denying that. He was foul prone in the NBA also. That hasn’t changed. Once again, your debating against history and empirical knowledge
5. He doesn’t do anything that a triditional big man is supposed to do so far. He doesn’t bang in the paint, doesn’t score in the post, doesn’t set screens nearly as well as he’s supposed to, and doesn’t rebound well at all. Those are RUDIMENTARY elements of being a big man on the NBA.
He’s more or less the same player he was coming into the league, which is fringe role player
