If this last season proved anything, it proved that essentially any type of player of any capability can be the best versions of themselves on this team.
Exactly.

Bench Simmons might have been able to actually realize his potential and become a younger Dray. But his core issues would very likely still remain. The fit just ain't good.

It's just not reasonable to double down on your team's weakness and hope it'll work out.

Simmons would've taken Looney's role/position, and the Warriors would've been even more dynamic - greater defense and greater playmaking. Kuminga, Moody, Otto, etc all would've rotated through that wing spot left vacant by Wiggins. If Ben was healthy (which we now know he wasn't), GS still would've won with him. They really would've won with any average starter in place of Wiggins. The Celtics were always still going to be their only threat at the end of the day, and Steph playing like he did in the Finals, they wouldn't have needed much from Wiggins' replacement besides defense and hustle.

This upcoming season is going to be year That Steve Kerr is really going to get his Greg Popovich on and we going to see Curry, Klay & Draymond resting a lot of games.

During the season it's going to be The Youngins Wiseman, Looney, Moody, Minga, Poole getting majority of the minutes.

I don't expect The Warriors to be 1st Seed, 2nd Seed or 3 Seed because this season is about transitioning to the Future while still playing in the present. Playoff time The Big 3 are going to be well rested the youngins will be battle tested and ready for a Championship run. Warrior's are going to be back to back champs

The Strive for Five

The Dynasty Continues
Steph, Draymond and Klay will still be the main ones who get the most minutes. That's not going to change in 2023 (try telling Klay he's going to be resting a lot of games when he's missed the last two seasons).

It's weird how you'd phrase it in the manner you did when did you forget that Steph, Klay and Draymond didn't even play one game together last season? Steph played 60-odd games, Draymond played 40-odd games and Klay only played 30-odd games. Do you seriously think they're going to play even fewer games next season if they're healthy?

There should the the expectation of them being a top seed; they were the #3 seed last season when Steph, Dray and Klay didn't even play one game together. Last season was basically their floor for wins. They'll head into next season with a healthy core, and Wiggins, Moody, Poole, Kuminga etc are better version of themselves than they were last regular season, along with the additions of cats like Divincenzo (who's basically a better version of GP2).

They should be in the running for the #1 seed. If they can win 53 games when Steph, Klay and Dray don't even play one game together, imagine how many games they can win when all three are playing together for the season with an even better support cast?

I know you're slow and all that, but how the fukk do you expect the Warriors not to have a top record (they were the #3 seed last season), when Steph, Klay and Draymond will actually play out the season together? Do you somehow think the Warriors will have a worse record in relation to last season with Steph, Klay and Draymond playing together?

I have no doubt that they would be managed in some capacity, but they're all still going to play more games than they did last season, and therefore that should come with the expectation they win more games, should it not?

Put in the work! It's going to be a battle between Looney and Wiseman for The Starting Center spot

For what it worth Draymond Green is working out with Boogie. And we all know Draymond Green have Bob Myers ear. If there's anything and get him on the cheap bring him in, and let Wiseman get minutes at PF and C.

Wiseman is a poor man David Robinson with an high ceiling. Remember David Robinson was a Grown Ass 24 when he came into the league 4 year's at College and a few years at the Naval Academy.

I expect great things from Wiseman
