if i pay a lot for something it's usually for the quality not brand. a good duck coat for the winter or a goretex jacket, some merino wool clothing ..leather garments. you can't just go off the name brand but that's on a shopper to know what they are looking for out of a product. brand alone does not mean quality.

My mom buys those pricey handbags and I don’t quite understand why. Waste of money…and I like designer stuff…just not clothes and accessories…

Biggest grifting industry of all-time.

No useful products whatsoever.

You're literally buying a name and their markup.

Chevron's Market Cap is $285 Billion
Toyota's Market Cap is $278 Billion
Coca Cola's Market Cap is $272 Billion

Louis Vuitton's Market Cap is $385 Billion.

Do you know how stupid that is?
