Fuk it, might register for the cisa this weekend. I took an L after four major certs so my confidence took a hit.

I got my AWS certs using just books and reading the actually documentation. I did just buy a Linux academy subscription this past week to work on my RHCSA and container courses though. Highly recommended.

Linux Academy would be my recommendation. I am learning it on the fly at work and linux academy labs have helped a lot.

Brehs, are any y'alls linux academy accounts still valid? Your boy has spending mad bread on these certs courses. Tryna use it just for a month. That shyt is 50 bucks a month tho

I finally broke 100K threshold ! Signed the offer sheet and I'm now waiting for the actual contract before giving notice

I remember how I first found this thread in the summer of 2015. I had started certifications maybe a couple of years before but I wasn't sure where to go. I read the entire thread, built a plan, went for it, worked some crappy ass job and now I'm finally reaping the benefits


It might get hard on all of us but don't you ever forget we are the chosen people of God ! Keep the faith and stick to the plan, you might have to adjust it but believe in your fukking self

Peace to the true Gods living ! Now onto figuring out how do I get to 250K

New here. Passed the AWS CSAA yesterday. I think i'm going to go for the Developer associate next and master cloudformation/terraform then get the security or data science speciality cert.

Most of the courses being asked about in here can be found on torrent sites like freetutorials.eu or onlinecoursebay.com

I'm going to work in security architecture doing audits, compliance and cloud security. I got a bunch of certs related to Entreprise & cloud architecture (both Azure and AWS). I'll have to go after one of these 3 certs to get to the real money : CISM / CRISC / ISO 27005 or any ISO shyt really . Seems like they will pay for certs trainings too but it ain't all the way real yet until I get that paperwork

It's going to be a chill job where I can finally get insurance and 401K . Your boy was on the ropes

Bet. What path did you take with the certs? I have a bachelors in cybersecurity and CCNA as well. I find that I really enjoy cloud computing
