I've been studying for this CCIE written but I dont think I'm gonna be ready by the February 23rd deadline. Especially not enough to risk $450 on it :francis:

I'm getting recognized at work tho because I've been able to solve a lot of issues before they make it up to the leads. I'm learning all that BFD/QoS/Multicast shyt that doesn't get introduced until the CCIE but affects day to day network operations.

Not to mention I got a few Ansible playbooks working to automate config generation for new sites, compliance reports and post-maintenance reports.

My plan is to keep up with the CCIE grind, add some python scripts to the Ansible automation I have working and learn some AWS.

What experience you have on there?

Never saw this.
Put all my experience on there. I have 2 years of experience as implementation consultant for Oil and gas ERP software. Put my skills on there. I can dm the profile if you have any suggestions

thank you. I don't know why i'm finding doing this such a challenge (been kinda overthinking alot lately)...i might just take it to basics and start small.
The best part is all this information is out there for free once you know how to look.

Finally finished up CCNP requirements.
Im looking for the next path in order to fully well round out my resume.
The question is should I go for Cisco security or industry security certs..
or should I go down the DevOps path. Decisions decisions..

Nobody has anything good to say about FIREpower and since that's the direction Cisco is going in its security portfolio; CCNP Security is dead.

Grab the palo alto PCNSE and call it a day.

That one seems interesting but there dont seem to be many job postings around here with "palo alto" contained within

We use it here at work, and I dont find it to be that bad. But I have read on its shortcomings, and it does indeed seem that Palo Alto has the best performance all around

Hell
I need advice, I'm trying to take the new ccna soon but I need more time to really study, the issue is I have these shytty overnight jobs that take up too much time and I hate them. but I don't have the money to sit for months to focus on studying. I have to work. I need a decent job that I can study while I work. Anyone can advise anything? Anyone in SFLA know of a easy ass job that I don't have to do shyt and I can study while I work?

I'll work for 30k, just let me cover these bills while I work on better.
