Now shyt is bleek. I’m still employed but I was looking to leave soon, might have to change plans a bit.
The best advice I have for skipping helpdesk is try your best to get a skillset with a specific platform: m365, Linux, intune, splunk, Citrix vdi, etc. Being helpdesk in the right environment starting out may not be that bad though. You’ll get to learn and understand how all this works and it will help you figure out what niche you like (assuming you’re in the right environment, try to go to a bigger organization that uses all the platforms I mentioned).damnnnnn

im almost done with my cert+....im just trying to find a new entry lever field to enter
i sure i can get something somewhere but seeing all these new grads taking help desk jobs is annoying.

Unless you want to get the trifecta (A,Net, & Sec +), you should go for Sec+ first. Net+ is good entry cert if you plan on getting into networking field, you can skip itcurrenly taking a+ hopefully have my cert by end of march then going for my network or sec.
