Sometimes I feel I should be satisfy with were I am at but still keep studying to keep an exit plan in my back pocket, just in case. Companies I would like to ideal work for such as big fours, the people I talk to have no work life balance. I was dating a girl and she would work 8 to 8

I use to think I wanted to work for a MS or Google but after talking and working with enough people who have I realize that life ain't for me. 8 to 8 is some wild shyt
But yeah, Same boat for me. I now have all the certs that I wanted (AWS, Azure, ITIL, CCSK, TOGAF...) and I'm making good money but that big 4 is some different type of shyt breh
. Like you said, the overtime will kill you slowly so now I'm learning to love what I have now. 
I barely have an hour of overtime everyday
, The most it gets is a 2 hour overtime maybe twice a month. It ain't that bad... for now

How do y’all feel about contracts? I’m so used to being a worker under an actual that contracts kinda scare me. I have seen a lot of people prefer contracts and actually jump from contract to contract. I just got an offer that was just for 7 month.
I've never been on contract, but it doesn't seem like something I'd like. Seems like you'd be constantly on the hunt - no real stability. I could be wrong.

yeah that’s how I feel about it. I’m big on stability so it didn’t really seem like the thing for me.
I’m in my A+ class right now. When I’m done with the program i signed up for I will have my A+, Network+, Security+, CASP, CCENT, CCNA, MS Windows 10, MCS Server 2012, and a ethical hacker cert
