:childplease: what part of up to the CCIE written went over your head?

Also there's dumps detailing the various versions of the lab topology and the questions on there.

The lab topologies changes quicker than a hookers pants that's why there is a high percentage failure rate....

If Microsoft had a similar exam people will start respecting their certifications!

So, by next year if all i have is Certs, some college experience(working towards degree in software development), and my HS diploma i can already be working in the IT field, even if it just entry level pay?

Besides the A+ cert, how long does it take to study for the other ones that i need?

Have you taken or even studied for the CCIE? If not I'll advise you to not speak on it.

Like I said, there's dumps that will show you the CCIE lab topology, I've seen them. The reason the CCIE is so sought is not necessarily for the knowledge the engineer bring, but because of the discounts and support given as a Cisco partner, which require a certain number of certified professionals on staff. You can even sell your CCIE number for use to another company and make a couple gs a month.

And people do respect MS certs. I've been contacted by recruiters for jobs in Afghanistan on military installations, and the positions REQUIRED MCITP: SA before even getting a chance to interview. What they don't respect is the fact that a lot of people have these certs, don't have the experience to back it up, and get exposed in the interview because they can't do the job.

Federal positions always ask for meaningless certifications but most private sector companies could give an shyt about the latest Microsoft certification. They only care about your demonstrated work experience.

It went very well but won't know until next week.

It's a broad term but in my case it would be software deployment/packaging,

Don't think I'm getting this job :( . In my experience you normally hear back within 48 hours on IT jobs.
