Got a prospect thats 110K base, in the same class of Accenture. Feel like I should've said 120K when discussing with salary.

Yeah if they jumped at 110k that easy, i'm guess the max is hovering around 130k and and that you could have got that 120K just as easy. Depending on their hiring process and job details that were left out, you may be able to renegotiate.
My last prospect was was around 115k-130k, They was willing to proceed with 120k that I asked
seemed to really like my skills and wanted to go futrther but it's 3 hours away from where I live and my lease isnt up and I'm not about to break the lease unless company is giving me a signing bonus and relocation.
Good luck on yours tho
Thanks fam.
Yeah...I really just spat out the glassdoor average . There was only one datapoint, and i read on this site, that the role generally caps out at 120K. I peeped some profiles on linkedin for the same role at that company, and most had significantly more experience, so i had some hesitation tryna to max out.
80K to 110K is a decent tho , thats if i even get it
The important thing...whether you get it or no is that you at least know the worth of your skillset and you can negotiate future roles based on that 110K + range
Another thing is dont rely on GlassDoor because they report salaries way lower than the actual averages
My current company was listed with an abysmal salary range but in reality I'm making bank
I know the feeling breh. I'd definitly try my best to get on considering Solutions Architect roleYeah, i'll keep that in mind in the future.
The good thing is, there's room to eventually transition to a solution architect role, which is basically my end game (at least in the medium term horizon).
I think if interview process turns out well, I might request to bump to 120K. fukk it, worth a shot
Man the cert studying fatigue ain’t no joke lol especially the review portion of it
So much reading but I keep pushing
Finally stopped procrastinating and got my Sec+ last week.
Any gov't contractors in here that can point me in the right direction? I live near one of the largest AFB's in the country and didn't see much on Indeed or USAJobs. Wondering if there's either hiring freezes or if I'm just looking in the wrong places.
How long did it take for you to get it? Did you get the N+ first?
What did you use to study? Any notes/tips?Finally stopped procrastinating and got my Sec+ last week.
