Finally set up the date for the A+ after procrastinating for so long. Your boy should be certified within the next month. Hopefully it helps open up different opportunities because I've been struggling searching for work

I've also started studying for AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner. Keeping focus is an issue though; I'm locked in for about an hour then my mind will drift until the next day.

You had better stick with Federal IT that requires a clearance. Because if Biden and Kamala win they'll flood the private sector with cheap foreign labor.

Honestly, it would not be that hard once you get your certification. This field seem to put a lot of value on former military members.

Just start your journey now with a cert in a subject that interests you

like the other poster said, the fact that you are military is going to be a big bump with you getting in IT

It’s ironic I might make more money doing the job I’m doing now in the civilian life, but I’d rather do IT

I wanna try all 3 but it was fukkin hard to juggle last time

Thought about trying this but I got shook at the last second and declined an offer, is this doable as cloud engineer? How do you know if its a good opp to try?
