If I don't repsond to your post it's because I didn't respond not because I'm scurrying away which is clearly not the case considering I'm still very present in this thread.

:francis:

also, I've never suggested that Black professionals don't exist, I happen to be a ... Black professional.

You scurried away and didn't refute the points made. Hell you even used my argument to you against another poster.

Like l said, all women are hoes since it's a rapper's P.O.V. and experiences. Dumb logic you just validated.

And yes l know 'hello world' programmers are calling themselves professionals now

First daniel cormier then rampage jackson now mond felton this nikka lol :dead:

Right.

Im sure you and @PartyHeart would have no problem with a show by a bm depicting most of its black female cast in a negatively stereotypical fashion.

200x200px-ZC-6d2e9077_XrxMc.gif

there are literally two Black men on the show Insecure that have had any significant airtime for the writers to flesh out their characters and neither are cast in a "negative stereotypical fashion".

Why would any Black person, Black male or female support a show where a Black woman is the side chick to White President...with the history of Thomas Jefferson and Sally Hemmings...

Like why would any Black woman create that show...

Decided to not address everything else in my post huh? Like I said

very restrictive parameters for you guys to support anything by a black woman. Not so, at all, for the reverse.

You can keep telling yourself whatever you need to to make you ignore your obvious bias against black women storytellers, but its beyond true. And Sally Hemings was 3/4s white btw.

You don't have an argument but rather immature retorts and I'll leave you to them.

Uh...

You the one with the bias and automatically assume Black males won't watch Black female shows because it's created by Black females.

We told you why we wouldn't watch majority of the shows...due to the stereotypes of Black men...

I said, I don't care if Black men are even in the Black female shows...

You said you had a problem with Boondocks and Atlanta...because of the lack of Black women...and you said you would give up watching Atlanta if more Black women

You got more restrictive parameters than I have :yeshrug:

And Sally Hemmings was still a person of African descent...and considered Black and had the status of a Black person or a person of color.

I watched and like both shows. The difference is I don't have a problem with Black men like y'all do Black women, so I don't nitpick everything they do for a reason to boycott. But I will drop Atlanta if it doesn't introduce more Black female characters though. I can't support "black" shows, that make it a point to exclude the same way white shows exclude us.

And Power is a black woman created show that centers around a Black man. Thats why you all don't have a problem with it. If Power was centered around Tasha, you all would hate it. Its interesting you all bring up Power though, because Power is created by a black woman and has a black man cheating on his black wife with a white woman and there has thus far been no uproar from black women about it, like there still is for Scandal 7 years later. Again, very restrictive parameters for you guys to support anything by a black woman. Not so, at all, for the reverse.

Baby... most of these nikkas you going back and forth with don't even have the respect of their peers in real life.....

it's called "insecure" and the pilot is streaming on HBO GO

I won't spoil the plot points, but the usual suspects are all present:

- the unemployed broke boyfriend
- the brother that loves "other" women
- the aging wanna be rappers
- the "I ain't looking for love, just sex!" dudes

And of course the sistas are corporate business minded modern day black women

This is bound to be a hit, and there were some parts I laughed at. But it's waiting to exhale 2.0

Even though I agree with everything you said, I think you miss the point of the thread tho. Why can't she just out right say she prefers white guys? Instead what we have here is the classic "no good black men" excuse that this show might (i hope not ) be cooking up.

Lol..

She insists that Black women support everything Black men do without nitpicking...which is a fukking lie...

She already admitted that she didn't think Black men was not gonna watch Insecure because a Black woman made it.

She said that she had a problem with Boondocks due to the lack of Black women

She said she wasn't gonna watch Atlanta if there isn't enough Black women...

But she thinks we should watch shyt like Insecure cause a Black woman made it yet she it has the typical, "I can't find a good Black man" trope in it? :what:

I just don't agree that there is a no good black men excuse being set up. Her portrayal of black men is better than the Atlanta show being lauded. I'll wait to see where its headed in terms of her ending up with a white guy and being happily ever after, but the image of black men was not maligned in this one episode you all have drawn all these conclusions from.

@Matt504 thinks he is a 'black professional' (Programmer) in this thread.

He makes ad hominem attacks about people hating what they see in the mirror but when given one himself, he wants to hypocritically take the moral high road.

He repeatedly ignores other poster's arguments and persists with his broken logic.

This poster wants to win debates through sheer determination instead of critical thought.
