What I'd like to see explored it why women take so long to fully "reconnect" when they "check out". Having been cheated on before, the situation was pretty similar. She had her issue with our relationship, I worked on those things not knowing she had already started to entertain the thought of stepping out and never realized all the changes I made etc.
To a lesser extent Issa did the same thing. She didn't really appreciate all lawrence did for her until after she cheated. Is it simply people like her and my ex just take longer to get over being hurt?
My girl feels like Issa's been unhappy with herself and would have spiraled the way she did regardless if Lawrence had never slipped on his duties or not. She just used that as an excuse etc.

I would love for the show to be unique and actually put Lawrence and Tasha in an actual relationship for most, if not all of season 2. The show could explore Lawrence and Issa being apart and actually growing as people, reconnecting slowly as friends and PERHAPS get together at the very end of season 2 or the beginning of season 3
