2,400 Americans died in Afghanistan in 20 years. Russia loses that in Ukraine per month. Imagine comparing a half hearted occupation with like 8,000 soldiers to a full blown invasion where Russia is literally drafting cats off the street to go and die in the mud or run into machine gun fire Afghanistan was safer for US soldiers than a Friday night in south side Chicago.
