US has been hit before by amateurs just 20 years ago..sending the domestic situation into panic and trillions of dollars spent in Iraq and Afghanistan to achieve what exacty??

How rich is Iran? How rich is Saudi? With the vast amounts of wealth the gulf states have, Gaza shouldn’t have to depend on Israel for water, electricity, internet. These Arab countries only seem to give a fukk about the Palestinians when Israel is involved. The money used to plan the Hamas attacks could have been put towards a water treatment plant or a power rig, something to make them self-sufficient

There is an embargo on Gaza. They called it an open air prison for a reason. Israel wasn't gonna let them have a thing especially if it meant self sufficiency.

China's military is VASTLY inferior to the US military at every level, not just experience. And they have zero ability to project power to the USA. All of China's strengths are towards protecting their own homeland and immediate offshore waters, they ain't doing shyt in the USA.

It's hard to know what happened without more information. But I wouldn't be surprised if Israel would do anything to dissuade journalists from covering the conflict beyond repeating their narrative.

While Israel is primarily responsible for Gaza not having shyt, let's not pretend that any of these Arab leaders give a shyt about Palestine or anyone else either. They're wealthy self-serving dictatorships who mostly care about themselves.

I don't mean to toot our horn, but the U.S. can definitely fight China as well as sustain a war in the Middle East. We have a forward-deployed carrier in Japan, multiple "lightning carriers" that can handle F35 ops there also, as well as in 3rd Fleet where another 4 carriers are stationed.

America's military is built to fight in two different theaters simultaneously, and that's why we have 11 carriers.

I say all this to say that we can have 3-4 CVNs and 2-3 mini-carriers on China's ass in a heartbeat.

What is a lightning carrier ? Yes we have the Regan in the pac fleet but to fight China and the people in the middle east might be a bit much. That's 2 carrier battle groups needed and they from opposing ends of the US
