Having conservatives in power will worsen this. You know they don't care for multiculturalism or any of this "woke" stuff. So i dont see how that would help
reduce the tension in the region. If anything, Israel will feel more emboldened--looking how AIPAC has been moving this election cycle, its abundantly clear that they want Republicans back in power.
The problem is when your Liberal voter base is expecting you to stand up for them, but if you show you don't, they won't care to vote anymore.
That's how people lose faith in the system.
That's how election turnouts get small - which favor the conservative crowd because they'll show up no matter what.
As a Liberal leader, you have to work harder. It's unfortunate, but it's the truth and why people trust you're the person for the job - they're counting on you to do what's right by them. That's why the movements can get so powerful because people will believe you're that person to champion.
When you don't stand up for them or you dance around the issues, you lose them and you lose votes. It can also really fukk your party support up for years. Again, unfortunately the conservatives don't have that problem - they'll get votes unconditionally, they know their voter base are suckers.
Liberal voters are not nearly as unconditional - because they're expecting a real world result. They're held to a standard. That's why swing votes are more valuable to them.
As a Liberal leader, if you're okay with genocide on an underprivileged population that's being widely discussed on the internet during your tenure in an election cycle, all while you had the capability to stand up for what's right – well, good luck with your campaign and getting people to listen to you. lol.
