At the end of the day, no Liberal leader country with a significant Liberal population following a democracy wants to be on the wrong side of history. The voters will let you know when you get annihilated on the polls when they don't show up because they've lost faith and the extreme right wing shows up like they always do. Them not stepping in so far is a big stain on the record of western Liberal leadership allowing it to happen - especially if Israel goes through with outright genocide. The kicker is how much American Israel citizens vote conservative and how many brown and young white Liberals that outnumber them there are. They're literally working against their best interest to their voter demographics by allowing a leveling of Palestine.

You're forgetting that we (the U.S.) is literally right by Israel just waiting for a "I wish a nicca would" moment.

Iran don't want those problems and plus we're on some weird good terms with the Saudis...at least enough to negotiate various things so there may be a buffer there.
