There’s 40,000 Hamas fighters waiting for them.
That will be the least of their concerns. Hamas is not a challenge for a fully unrestrained Israel. No matter how much you sympathize with them. If Israel decides they want to become genocidal in the total sense of word, they can wipe hamas and Palestinians off the map.

The bigger trap is if they go down this path, Israel will globally cement their place in the minds of millions if not billions of people of them being evil and a terrorist state and their existence as a state will be in danger. The outrage by the populace in the Arab world will be limitless to the point even if these Arabic leaders cynically only pretend to care about the Palestinians for political purposes may find themselves facing threat to their power if they don't do anything. Anytime Israel tries to play a victim card, after a generation of people have seen the evil real time will have no sympathy for Israel. They will reek of the same stench on a global scale as South Africa did before apartheid regime was dismantled.

I know that folks on here will say "but Israel is already evil and all the things you said already the case" but regardless if that is right or not, for now Israel whether it's through effective bullying and pressure and the sympathy they garner from some people due to their history, they do get some support. Also, many people before this never knew or saw the full scope of abuse Israel has enacted on the Palestinians. They are sheep who simply buy the endless pro Israel propaganda we are bombarded with.

But the power of that propaganda will evaporate if everyone watches Israel commit genocide in real time. Especially since people are paying attention to this conflict more than any time in recent history. This is what Hamas wants and Israel may be dumb enough to fall into this trap.

Israel probably feel like they have little to lose after last week. Honestly, hard to see how this will work out - Israel have a big military advantage but going door to door in urban warfare is a nightmare.
Can’t even agree with being that with Israel literally had their foot on Palestine necks for decades… This was boiling to this point

This conflict has little to do with religion at its core.
Someone finally said it.

This has been about land and survival for a long time.

Israel, as always, is going to answer with disproportionate force because if they don't look like menaces, they expect to get jumped. They want that land.

Hamas knows that the more Palestine is choked out, the harder it will be for them to not get wiped out as well. They also want that land.

This is a conflict that has been going on for decades. Both sides are dirty fighters and civilians are going to inevitably get caught in the crossfire. Neither side will budge because their very existence is at risk.

Any religious aspect to it is little more than propaganda at this point. You could easily take that out of the equation and the result would be the same.

Israel is never getting rid of the palestianian fighters, call it Hamas or whatever.....The population in Gaza is like 50% young people because them demons have killed off alot of of the older generation. They have just killed somebodys mother, brother, father, cousin, uncle and more these past few days....them kids gonna want payback and rightfully so when they become adults.

I hope them israelis suffer a huge defeat when they go into gaza:demonic:

I'll say I was wrong about Biden addressing Israel as an aggressor.

Biden did tell Netanyahu a few days ago, publicly in front of everybody, that "it is important to follow the rules of war".

Media of course never covered that part of his speech in the headlines/summaries.
They kept cutting it after the "America stands with Israel" part.

As you also saw very few people here and probably online even knew Biden said this afterwards as not a single person responded to my tirades earlier with this fact/clip containing a direct quote of Biden not supporting war crimes and innocent casualties.

Guess it would've taken the vitriol and support out of "America giving the green light for revenge at any cost" narrative.
Anti-Palestine media don't want that.

Nonetheless still needs to address what is happening right now, do a doublecheck to make 100% sure we're not supporting war crimes and to prevent a genocide - especially with U.S-supplied equipment and weapons. Again, consider this the start of his 2024 campaign because it'll be an enormous issue that a very pro-Palestine Liberal, young voter base is watching unfold.

Are we looking at the same clips? You said Biden addressed Israel as the aggressor, where? He called him by his nickname BiBi, then went on to talk about their relationship. All he said was he told him to follow the rules of war. Same thing Russia said.

John Kirby dodged the question about Israel currently violating the rules of war. Yea , he threw Palestine civilians a bone, but it’s meaningless.

This is all lip service. Lloyd Austin has been getting briefed directly by Israeli military leaders. He’s about to sit in the war room inside Israel with other world leaders and watch the invasion. Probably give tips. They know what’s going on and they don’t care.

Anthony Blinken been out there this whole time. What has he done? Nothing. What has he accomplished? Nothing. They are all setting the stage for a massive war. It’s why he’s traveling from country to country. Telling everyone to stay out of it.

messages circulated on Friday, State Department staff wrote that high-level officialsdo not want press materials to include three specific phrases: “de-escalation/ceasefire,” “end to violence/bloodshed” and “restoring calm.”
The revelation provides a stunning signal about the Biden administration’s reluctance to push for Israeli restraint as the close U.S. partner expands the offensive it launched after Hamas ― which rules Gaza ― attacked Israeli communities on Oct. 7.

Do not give these people any grace. They are all guilty.
