The US wants Egypt as an ally because they control the Suez canal....Egypt would have no problem getting funding from China who already is investing in Egypt in the billions over the last few years....US losing Egypt to China would strategically be a disaster.

If you scroll through most of their equipment comes from America. They upset America nobody is fixing their shyt for nothing. If they switch out to China that takes time and I sincerely doubt China wants to take over policing the Middle East and dealing with a bunch of authoritarian barbarians that hate each other.

Israel might have all the fancy tech but it just showed to be passable by Hamas. Yes, Israel does have Nuke, but i don't think they would use it. They have no place to use it and would just escalate conflict. An unpopular goverment using a world ending device? even US would turn their back on them at that point.

Most countries have modest military budgets and are built to defend not attack. WW2 destroyed Europe and they haven’t been the same since. Russia and the US were the only military super powers and after the fall of the USSR, it’s been the US. Why do you think we have 750 bases around the world?

And where you don’t see bases like Africa and Brazil the military industrial complex is even more non existent. In about another decade or some, defense spending will probably top $1 trillion

Most countries want to simply make money and have peace. The ones that are building up like a China only do so because we are a threat. It’s all about control. Countries are sick of the US and Europe. But they simply don’t waste money on military to start wars.
