Honestly Abraham Accords is basically Palestinian Sacrifice. That was the price to pay to allow Arab nations to access the "wealth of the world" if you will--notice how the wealthier these nations have gotten, the less emphatic their official support for Palestine has become.
The people might still have passion for the cause, but I think as far as official government advocating strongly for Palestine you'll mostly find the heavily sanctioned nations from now on.

similar reasons to why haiti paid reparations to france, they would have faced embargos and no recognition of their independence.

Serious question. Howd they get their shyt pushed in if at the end they embarrassed the us government and took control of the country within days. :dahell:

Because they'd been forced into hiding for the better part of 20 years. The reason the Taliban took the country back is because the US had no desire to maintain a puppet government in Afghanistan. We forget, taking over Afghanistan didn't take all that long for the US. But neither the government nor the armed forces wanted to stay there forever. So Biden pulled the band-aid off and withdrew. So outside of a few smatterings of Afghan Army personnel, the vast majority of the country had no will or infrastructure to fight even a fragmented Taliban.

If America decided to institute a puppet regime (permanently) the Taliban would be a non-issue, if not eradicated fully. But because there wasn't really a great plan for either nation building OR withdraw the Taliban bided their time. But make no mistake...they got fukked over in the Afghan War. Bad.
Most of the casualties in that war were the newly formed Afghan security forces that tried to maintain order after the bulk of the US forces left. But during the actual invasion, US Coalition forces lost about 2,500 soldiers, the Taliban lost 50,000 or so.

Whether your state is "legitmate" or not... you cant decry tactics that you yourself employ...

I'm as anti-apartheid as can be when it comes to the israeli-palestinian issue...

but if both sides are currently green lighting civilans... i kinda have just have to say let them both cook and whoever wins wins...

Please quote the "international law" that allows exceptions for targeted civilian attacks in special circumstances

I'll wait...
Attacking illegal foreign/colonial settlements is not a “targeted civilian attack”

Twitter CANNOT be used to confirm information especially nowadays. There's way too many bot accounts and unverifiable "sources". Hate to say, but your best bet to get as much balance is to switch between CNN and Al Jazeera. That's about as balanced and credible as you're going to get out this one.

Too much cap on X right now.

If there's one thing Black people can learn about Ukraine, Israel etc--its the capacity of White people, Jewish people etc to stay ON-CODE when their interests are threatened and they need to hit back. All those little nuances and differences they have disappear when it comes to oppressing other groups.
You can see it in how they critique school bombings in both conflict. Its a masterclass, really.
We haven't learned to do that on a large scale yet.
Also, notice how all of that preaching of passivity and forgiveness and the need for nonviolent resolutions for when black people are victims of white violence goes out of the window when white people perceive themselves to be the victims of violence by another group. Then all of a sudden the only answer is scorched earth policy, literally.

Ya'll just say anything. They are not going to nuke the holy land.

Clearly Israel has no troble winning. They aren't going anywhere.

Ya'll have weirdo fantasies.
Yup. Israel nukes them then Putin going to be like "Oh that's what we're doing huh?"

Nobody wants that and that's a surefire way for people to dismiss Israel worldwide from ever sitting at the table again.
shyt, they're pushing their support closer to a critical point right now.

Yeah israel would never nuke the holy land, what they would do if they are overrun is the samson option. Ala lets say God Forbid iran enters the war and israel is gettingg killed and no allies are helping. Then that samson option :damn:
