It makes me think, if Danny isn't all in on IT, why not just take Fultz?

Exactly.

I hope Danny isn't getting too cute right now. And you don't just discard a guy like IT who's become a top 10 player and the best 4th quarter player.

I mean certainly his age can be a downside to a longterm deal but you can frontload that to reduce future impact. I honestly hope we can trade a pick to the Knicks for Porzingis

I mean dude is 28 (will be 29 this season) but I think his age is overstated as an issue. There's nothing that indicates that as soon as he hits 30, his skill set will fall off a cliff.

The likes of Damon Stoudemire and Allen Iverson were certainly effective starting scoring guards well into their 30s. And neither of them were renown for their defenses, either.

:obama: him losing a step may be an issue, but it's not like he's 35.

This time last year...

And I'd say Jaylen has been nothing short of great for us.

Lot of skepticism around Jaylen after picking him last year, but he def surprised many of us, including myself. Every time I hear his name brought up in trade rumors for Jimmy, PG, I legit get mad now. I am really looking forward to watching him develop in Boston.

Uncertain grounds
DSJ isn't a bad prospect at all. He reminds me a lot of Steve Francis outta Maryland. But he isn't who we need. Unless Danny still isn't 100% all-in for Isaiah.

Exactly my thinking. Only thing i can think of is that hes really serious about making a trade and needs to continue accumulating assets to avoid giving up next year's BK pick.

Exactly.

Thats my fear. He is getting too cute.
